Wicked Weekend

This past weekend we were able to go to Denver to see the play Wicked. About a month ago, my mom Surpised us Rose girls with an invite to a wicked weekend and she explained that she had bought us all tickets to go see the play and have a girls weekend. So we left on Friday and drove to denver. We stayed in a hotel on friday night, then we got up saturday, got ready and went and walked through the 16th street mall. It is an outdoor mall with all kinds of shops and stores. Then Saturday afternoon we went to the matinee showing of Wicked and it was Wonderful. I hadn't really heard much about that play except that it was good, and good was an understatement. It was so GREAT! We had so much fun. Anyway, after the play we had dinner and then we went and sat in the hot tub. It was such a good chance to visit and enjoy each others company. It was such a fun weekend and I am glad my mom was so generous and invited all us girls to come.
Here we were at the 16th street mall. (L to R) Rebecca, Grandma Burningham, me, mom, Jackie, and Leslie. (in the stroller= Isaac.)
A picture at the theatre, before the play.

Another picture at the theatre before the play.

All of us girls by the wicked poster after we had seen the play.
It was such a fun time, hopefully we can do it again soon.

Eventful Day

Today has been quite an eventful day here at the Hymas house. Earlier this week Clark had his four month checkup with the doctor and he gave us the go ahead to start on rice cereal, so today, we did just that. Clark did pretty well. When the spoon would head his way he would open his mouth. I don't really know how much really made it into his belly, but he is definitely learning.

Earlier this week I also got his high chair. It is one that just hooks right onto the counter or table and it works wonderful. I donl't have a lot of kitchen space, so it is great.

The Other event for today, is Clark rolled from his tummy to his back. I couldn't believe it, he did it just so smoothly. Our little guy is growing up so fast. I hardly know how to handle it.
This is the first documentation of Clark and Solid food. I have to laugh because he looks so small in his chair. Its ok though because I am sure he will soon grow into it quite quickly.

Halloween

This year for Halloween Clark was an elephant. I had to work all day, so we really didn't take Clark anywhere or do anything fun, but it was still fun to put the costume on and get some pictures. My mom let us barrow the costume and it was a little big, but he still looks cute.
Is this not the cutest elephant you have ever seen.
This picture is just funny because he is pretty much drowning in the costume.

The Witches

Last night the witches were out. One of my girlfriends had the Idea to dress up and go out to dinner. So we went to the Olive Garden, and then we went and had Ice cream at this place called spoon me. Normally I don't really dress up, but I did this time and it was really fun. When we were at the restaurant the waiter asked us if this was a tradition and I guess it is now. The food was good, and the company was good. It is so nice to have such great friends.
This all of us, minus Julie before we left. ( L to R) Tiffany Torrey, Natalie Dallinga, Kris Bersonnet, Pam Johnson, Ace Jenks, and Me.
This is the group waiting for our table. We had such a fun time and so many laughs. You gotta love Girls Night Out! We missed the friends tha couldn't come, and we will have to get them next time.

Toys or Toes

Lately our little Clark has not been interested in toys at all, but he sure likes fingers and toes. He will put them in his mouth any chance he gets, and I can't help but smile when he does. He is such a funny little guy.
The other morning I heard this really loud sucking noise coming from Clarks room so I went in there and this is what I found. (Steve took this picture though.) He totally had his feet in his mouth and he was quite content.
After I caught him though, he had the "busted" look on his face.

Father of the Year

I have really been noticing lately that Steve has been such a great husband and Father in our house. He is always so willing to help with the baby, and help around the house, even when he is worn out from a long day at work. He loves to Play with Clark and make him smile and laugh. I am so lucky to have such a great guy. I have kind of been keeping this blog like a journal, so I wanted to post some of the shots of Steve Being so great.
At the hospital after a very long night. Can you see the sleepy in Steves eyes?
Even though we just see Clark in this picture it is Steve who is doing all the work to get that great smile.
Just snuggling. I think that is Steves favorite thing. Just holding and loving Clark.

Steve helping Lady and CLark get aquainted.

This is on Clarks Blessing Day when Steve did such a great job.

Just taking a little snooze on the floor.

I love it that they are making the same face to each other. Cute Boys.

Just hanging out enjoying each others company.

How time flies

I can't believe it, today my little Clark is 3 months old. He is growing up so fast. He is at such a fun stage right now. He laughs and smiles a lot, he can mostly hold his head, he usually sleeps through the night. (I hope I don't jinx things by saying that:) but he such a good baby. I am wanting him to stay like this forever. He is interactive, but he can't move around to get into any trouble. Its the perfect combination. Anyway, here are some current pictures of the little man.
I just love those chubby cheeks, double chin, and darling grin. Such a cutie.
I love being his mom, especially when he is so fun and cute. I don't think it gets much better than this.
